Product Details

Proven to be highly reliable and valid, ESI-R provides a brief developmental screening instrument designed to be individually administered to children from 3:0 to 5.11.


  • Address developmental, sensory, and behavioral concerns in the areas of Visual Motor/Adaptive, Language and Cognition, and Gross Motor Skills. 
  • Separated into to two age groups: 3:0–4:5 (ESI-P) and 4:6–5:11 (ESI-K).


The ESI-R includes the following:

  • Newly designed score sheets to improve accuracy in scoring.
  • Separate versions of the score sheets are available for the ESI-P and ESI-K.
  • Two appendices that contain administration and scoring criteria for Spanish-speaking examiners (included in Examiner’s Manual).
