Course Description

This learning track introduces you to the newly released Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale, Fifth Edition (WAIS-5) assessment. The training focuses on the core differences between the WAIS-IV and WAIS-5, including updated norms, new subtests, and revised indexes.

By the end of this session, learners will be able to:

  • Understand the structure of the fifth edition of the Wechsler® Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS-5)
  • Explain the key differences between the WAIS-5 and its predecessor, WAIS-IV, focusing on:

    • The new five-factor structure
    • Other revisions
  • Engage in hands-on practice with administration and scoring, specifically focusing on the new features of the WAIS-5
