Join our research
Local development of an assessment involves collecting data from many different groups of people from populations in Asia . The assessment is tested under standard conditions to find out how people typically perform.
Once the assessment is published and used in clinical practice, professionals can use the scores as a benchmark to know how an individual is performing.
Our development team is always looking for children, adults, and schools to take part as participants in the development process.
Be an examiner
We are constantly looking to work with clinicians and researchers to take part as examiners, register your interest.
As an examiner, your role is to recruit participants and collect data for the development of our assessments.
The assessment is tested under standard conditions with members of the community. The samples collected reflect population characteristics captured by the census. Projects can include a retest reliability study, multiple validity studies, and the inclusion of examinees with clinical diagnoses.
If you are selected to work with us as an examiner, you will receive training before assessing a participant.
If you are part of a larger organization and would like to discuss a clinical or research collaboration please contact us at research@pearson.com.au.
Be a participant
If you are interested in taking part in one of our projects as a participant please complete this form.
Participants are asked to complete tasks and play games, and research sessions take place at a time and location convenient to you and the examiner.
