Audience

Those purchasing the ADOS-2 Training Video program must be a Psychologist (User Level C) or hold a bachelors degree in a similar Allied Health field (User Level B). This includes Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology and Special Education.  They must also hold a practicing licence with their relevant agency. 

Course Structure

The ADOS 2 Training Video Program consists of modules that comprise up to thirty hours of training.

Learning Outcomes

After undertaking this training, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the general administration and coding procedures for the ADOS-2
  • Identify specific administration techniques for Modules 1-4
  • Recognise how to apply ADOS-2 codes to specific behaviours observed during administration of Modules 1-4 
  • Identify specific administration techniques for the Toddler Module
  • Recognise how to apply ADOS-2 codes to specific behaviours observed during administration of the Toddler Module
  • Recognise how to choose the appropriate ADOS-2 algorithm scores
  • Recognise how to convert assigned ratings to algorithm scores
  • Identify how to apply the ADOS-2 Classification and ADOS-2 Range of concern based on algorithm scores
  • Identify how to apply the ADOS-2 Comparison score based on algorithm scores
  • Recognise the difference between the ADOS-2 Classification/ADOS-2 Range of concern and the overall diagnosis/overall clinical impression
