			<h3>Course Description</h3>

			<p>This 3-hour session provides an overview of the core assessment components of the BASC&ndash;3 model: the Teacher Rating Scales (TRS), Parent Rating Scales (PRS), and Self-Report of Personality (SRP). The composites and scales (Clinical, Adaptive, and Content) and the probability indexes that comprise these rating forms will be explained, and a discussion about how reporting and interpretation can be used to guide supports and interventions will also be included.</p>

			<p>After attending this session, participants will be able to:</p>

				<li>Apply the BASC&ndash;3 model including employing the TRS, PRS and SRP in the process of identifying social, emotional, and behavioral challenges</li>

<p>This on demand training is designed to support and upskill User Level A primary and secondary teachers, special educators,&nbsp;learning support staff, nurses and hospital staff, Allied Health professionals, and other professionals working in the Education and Health industries&nbsp;to help&nbsp;screen, assess and understand an individual&#39;s mental health needs by accessing and using User Level B assessments. This training will focus on the BASC 3.</p>

			<p>This on-demand training is designed for professionals working within Education or Health environments who are currently a User Level A and would like to begin using our User Level B assessments. It is highly recommended for professionals interested in mental health concerns and are interested in using the BASC family of assessments, or other User Level B assessments, in their practice.</p>

			<h3>Course Structure</h3>

			<p>The training is comprised of three units. We suggest you allow 8-15 hours to complete on-demand units. This time will vary based on the User Level B assessment category and the number of on-demand units.</p>

			<h5>Unit 1 &ndash; Introduction to Statistical Concepts</h5>

			<p>Unit 1 will focus on introducing statistical concepts and principles that underpin all User Level B assessments. This unit will specifically discuss:</p>

			<ul>
				<li>Sets of scores and how to describe them</li>
				<li>The measures of central tendency</li>
				<li>Standard deviation and measures of spread</li>
				<li>Ordinal and categorical data</li>
				<li>Converting raw scores to z and t scores</li>

			<h5>Unit 2 &ndash; Understanding User Level B Assessments</h5>

			<p>Unit 2 will focus on improving your understanding of the User Level B assessment portfolio and your capacity to use User Level B assessments in context. The unit will specifically discuss:</p>

				<li>Developing an assessment hypothesis based on a referral</li>
				<li>User Level B assessment categories</li>
				<li>User Level B direct assessment administration principles</li>
				<li>Reporting considerations</li>

			<h5>Unit 3 &ndash; BASC-3 Identifying and Supporting Students&#39; Mental Health Needs</h5>

			<p>Unit 3 will focus on contextualising the statistical principles you have learned through the introduction to one of our leading User Level B assessments, the BASC 3. The unit will specifically discuss:</p>

				<li>Understanding the BASC-3 assessment family</li>
				<li>Scoring the BASC-3</li>
				<li>Interpretation considerations when using the BASC-3</li>

				<li>Identify how behavioral and mental health assessments can be used to address these challenges</li>
